On July 08, 1994, Cobi Heron was born in Los Angeles, California, to a single mother of four children. Cobi was raised in Ontario, California, in a Jamaican household. He attended Chaffey High School, also located in Ontario, California, which is where he had an advisor who recommended him to an extra-curricular program called “College Bound.” “College Bound” introduced him to Bowie State University.
Mr. Heron is currently a junior Dual Degree – Mathematics and Engineering major at Bowie State University. He aspires to acquire a Master of Electrical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. Cobi has a diverse academic background and has utilized his knowledge, skills, and abilities in the USA and abroad. He engaged in full-time study at Heilongjiang University in China, provided missionary service in Accra, Ghana, and supported many civic endeavors to help others. Cobi is a dynamic student and often provides mentoring and tutorial services to his classmates. The students, staff, faculty, and administration are proud of his accomplishments.
